Yes, same here on Pollack's DP. Of Ghostwritten, Cloud Atlas, and The Bone Clocks, Ghostwritten might be best. James Wood wasn't totally wrong in one of his Mitchell reviews that there's something weightless or arbitrary in his inventions; but he is responding to a different media and technological environment than the one in which the models of authenticity of realism and modernism developed.
